These pieces were completed as part of a module on concept art and character design, where the brief was to create an original character, object, location, and either vehicle or weapon/item. I chose to create an item as it felt more fitting to the overall setting.

My concept is a point-and-click adventure game set in a fantasy Egyptian-basis world, and the character and items are the guides the player can use to progress through their quests. The High Priestess would be the character that welcomes the player and explains their task, and she would give the player the objects to use to help them. As explained in the character sheets, the staff is used to open a portal to the beginner location; the keys are used to solve each level's challenge and unlock the next area after doing so; and the mirror is the function to ask for help within the game - through it, the High Priestess appears to give hints, and it also functions as the help menu in displaying player inventory, status, quest objectives etc. 

The storyboards show examples of some player levels and main menu screen, set within the temple of the High Priestess, and the other pieces here show work completed on character design and concept art in general.
